Recommended spending money: Volunteers in Brazil generally find US$250 to be sufficient for weekly expenses, including lunch, dinner and miscellaneous spending.
Joining the Brazil Program over Carnival (Fri, 28 Feb 2025 – Sat, 8 Mar 2025) will incur a strictly non-refundable Carnival Week Surcharge of US$600. This surcharge must be paid in full, along with your Program Fee, no later than thirty (30) days prior to the beginning of your program placement. Failure to pay the Carnival Week Surcharge by the specified deadline will result in a reduction of your program duration to ensure that you depart the Program on Fri, 28 Feb 2025.

Wildlife Conservation

All programs attract a Registration Fee of US$299 (approximately CA$452) in addition to the Program Fee. This covers all pre-departure support services. IVHQ fees are priced in USD but you may elect to pay in CAD.

Due to the remote location of the camp and limited availability of specialty items, there is an extra charge for some dietary requirements (US$22 per week for vegetarian and US$32 per week for vegan, gluten and lactose intolerance).
Recommended spending money: Volunteers in South Africa generally find US$50-75 per week to be sufficient for expenses, if not joining weekend tours.
Any changes or cancellations within 30 days of the program start date are subject to at least a US$488 late change/cancellation fee.

Construction and Renovation Medical Rural Teaching

All programs attract a Registration Fee of US$299 (approximately CA$452) in addition to the Program Fee. This covers all pre-departure support services. IVHQ fees are priced in USD but you may elect to pay in CAD.
A 5% international banking fee is added at point of payment.
Volunteers staying for longer than 4 weeks will need to budget an extra US$400 (approximately) to obtain a temporary work permit from Zambian Immigration in order to stay up to 90 days.
Recommended spending money: Volunteers in Zambia generally find US$100 per week to be sufficient for expenses.
