IVHQ Program Visits In Transit

IVHQ's Daniel Radcliffe and Claudia Lima are currently en route to China to visit our local patner organisation and volunteers in country.

Daniel and Claudia will spend their time in China meeting with our local staff, looking at what is working well, what could be improved and discuss how programs could be restructured for the future. Daniel and Claudia will also have the opportunity to visit current volunteers on their placements and seek feedback from their experiences volunteering in China with IVHQ.

This will be the fourth country to be visited in 2012 as part of the annual IVHQ program visits. Earlier this year, Daniel traveled to Brazil, India and Thailand to review each program and ensure the program quality and volunteer satisfaction were of a consistently high standard. The other members of the IVHQ team will shortly be embarking on trips to the other countries in which IVHQ offers programs and we will keep you updated on their progress.

You can follow live updates from Daniel and Claudia's time in China via the IVHQ on Twitter using the hash tag #IVHQvisits. Although they will not have access to Twitter once they arrive in China, we will keep you posted with the images and feedback they are sending through to us.

Here's the first tweet from Daniel (^DR), getting ready to board his flight with Claudia (^CL) to Xi'an.
