What to expect from Holiday volunteering abroad
As a Holiday Experience volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in a diverse range of volunteer activities over the weeks of Christmas and New Year.
These can include:
- Supporting local coffee farms or animal shelters
- Renovating and beautifying community spaces
- Bringing festive cheer to local hospitals and nursing homes
- Helping prepare and distribute Christmas gifts and food to people in need
- Organizing holiday parties for the elderly, local children, and those with special needs
You’ll also get to experience a fun and vibrant Christmas as part of the local community and your host family. Festivities in Latin America and the Caribbean are exciting and can include parades, music, fireworks, lights, decorations, piñatas, and lots of delicious food!
