Who is this program suited to?

What to expect and how you'll make an impact

An online presence is paramount for NGOs to provide a powerful platform to promote awareness, reach a broader audience, and efficiently mobilize resources.

Often, full-time digital professionals are unaffordable for non-profits to access. This project aims to connect NGOs with individuals, skillful in the digital space, who have a strong drive for advocacy and to make an impact in a community.

As a Content Creator volunteer, you can apply technical and creative skills to support NGOs in broadening their advocacies’ reach to their local community. Immerse yourself in initiatives focusing on various societal and environmental projects, such as animal shelters, refugees, community support, and environmental awareness.

Volunteers with skills in online and digital platforms can assist in the Content Creator project, such as:

  • Web developers to conduct website maintenance and webpage building, applying content and media supporting charitable initiatives;
  • Graphic designers and digital artists that contribute to providing marketing materials or social media, flyers, print ads, website content, or logos;
  • Photographers, video editors, and filmmakers can create visual media promotional videos, photo/video documentation during onsite projects, and images for social media;
  • Copywriters and researchers can create copy that extends the NGO’s reach across communities and increase online awareness;
  • Other volunteers who seek to enhance their skills and help NGOs make a difference in their communities.

Please note that NGOs may lack the necessary resources. We ask volunteers to bring their laptops, design software (Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent), camera equipment, or other devices they may need during the program.
