Recommended online TEFL course
We encourage volunteers on IVHQ’s Teaching projects to come prepared by completing some relevant training, such as a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) course. Although formal teaching qualifications are not required on these projects as volunteers are supported by local staff, taking a TEFL course enables you to gain more from the experience. ”I had an amazing experience in India. The students at Tagore School were so rewarding to work with. I loved forming relationship with the students and staff who were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and seeing the students progress and learn. It's a very unique opportunity to be able to volunteer in a school with just a desire to make a difference. My homestay was perfect”
