My volunteer experience has been fantastic. Orientation week was so much fun, a great way to meet the other volunteers and overall amazing experience. Being part of the childcare centre was a blessing, the children are all so lovely. I loved my host family. They welcomed me like a child of their own. I would recommend this to anyone as it is truly a life challenging experience. Thanks IVHQ! Sophie Hore (AUS Volunteer in India)
I am really enjoying the experience in Villa Allende, the local team are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble for them. The group of volunteers here at the moment are a particularly special group, each and every one with wonderful qualities. The accommodation and food is very good, very comfortable bed! The food has been tasty and so much of it! My Spanish is coming along…slowly! The community centre where the childcare project is held is very well equipped and the children of course, delightful. I am called abuela Wendy! I can’t think of anything to add to the project as it is so well run. Thank you again for the opportunity to experience this. Wendy Burns (AUS Volunteer in Argentina)
The general service was exceptional, after being someone who has worked in customer service for many years now; I would rate IVHQ, especially my Program Manager’s service as first class. I feel my time was thoroughly appreciated. It really was displayed in the people’s generosity, happiness, smiles, and enthusiasm to learn. It was the most rewarding experience of my life, it really helped me grow and mature alongside understand and appreciate other cultures, while giving towards a good cause. Ross Reber (AUS Volunteer in Kenya)
IVHQ was fantastic from the very outset, as were the local staff. They made every part of the experience enjoyable, affordable and most of all, memorable. To this day, I think about returning to Tanzania every moment and hope that in the future, I will be able to do so. Chantal Gangemi (AUS Volunteer in Tanzania)
The orientation was helpful gave us the introduction we needed into what we would be doing and what kind of things we can do while in Xi’an. My favourite moments were seeing the little kids faces light up as you walk into the room as they know they were going to learn something different. Cara Mclean (AUS Volunteer in China)
