International Volunteer HQ (IVHQ) provides safe, quality and extremely affordable volunteering placements in developing countries all over the world. At present we have a wide range of volunteering opportunities in Tanzania, Kenya, Kenya-Maasai, Nepal, Vietnam, Peru, Ecuador and Thailand. In 2008-09 IVHQ plans to open new programs in Bolivia, Mexico, India, China and Ghana. Whether you are travelling abroad, taking a gap year, or simply wishing to provide aid in a developing country through volunteer travel, International Volunteer HQ has the program for you.

IVHQ assists developing countries by providing volunteers to work in a variety of jobs such as teaching, medical work, HIV/Aids awareness and orphanage assistance. Volunteers can choose to work on projects for various periods of time ranging anywhere from one day to six months. Our partner organizations in these countries will place you in institutions which align your interests and strengths with projects where there is a REAL NEED for help and assistance.

With programs starting from $440 you will not find a more affordable, high quality international volunteer organization.

RECENT VOLUNTEER FEEDBACK

"Having lived and worked in developing countries before, I thought I was prepared for the experience, and anticipated no real shocks.  I was wrong.  I couldn’t have been prepared for just how welcome I felt, and how much I began to feel like a member of the community.  Volunteering wasn’t just about teaching or helping out, but it was more of a learning experience for everyone, including me.  I have no doubt that I learnt more than I could ever teach, and I took away with me more than I could ever give...................................Teaching and living in Kenya is something I will never forget.  I think about it everyday, and after resettling into Australian life, remembering my time in Kimuka is a pleasant way to escape the daily grind of Western life. Thanks so much to IVHQ for giving me an opportunity that turned into an experience that will always be a part of me."
