University Volunteering

University volunteering with International Volunteer HQ

We’ve supported hundreds of university groups to have meaningful travel volunteer experiences abroad. These groups have come from a wide range of schools - from the smallest community college to some of the biggest tertiary institutions in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, China and the Middle East.

Our dedicated team of group university volunteering experts has worked with universities to design student led experiences, alternative break trips, and faculty led service learning itineraries that enable cross-cultural learning and help to develop important career competencies. Many of these have also resulted in students gaining university credit for their time volunteering abroad as a group.

From start to finish, we were provided with wonderful support in planning our trip. All questions were answered in a professional and timely manner, leaving no doubt in my mind that it would be a success. The trip served as a wonderful experience, and I would surely recommend this organization! - University of Connecticut group to Peru.

IVHQ volunteer abroad programs are responsibly run and make a sustainable contribution to projects in more than 30 countries. Each of our programs maintain high standards of volunteer health, safety and security, and we provide a wide range of value-add services to ensure IVHQ volunteers are supported to make the most of the time they spend abroad.
