Volunteers on the Maasai Immersion project:
The Maasai Immersion project is located about 2 hours away from Arusha. Due to the remoteness of the project, volunteers who wish to go back to Arusha and take part on tours over the weekends, will need to arrange transportation with the local team directly at an extra cost of US$50 per vehicle. Please note that this doesn't apply to safaris, as the local team can pick up volunteers from the Maasai village on the way to the wildlife parks and reserves.
