Murals in Mexico

"We painted a mural in school today shunning war and violence, spreading love and peace. Paint was flying everywhere, on people, walls and in the air. The colours were beautiful. If only soldiers had paint in their hands instead of ammunition." - Mariam Magsi (Teaching, Mexico)

Mariam is currently volunteering in Mexico on IVHQ's Teaching program and has been sharing updates and photos from her experience with our Facebook community.

To see more photos from our volunteers' trips abroad and to network with our extensive community of past and future IVHQ volunteers, visit the IVHQ Facebook page and join the International Volunteer HQ Facebook group.
