IVHQ joins Pinterest

IVHQ has jumped on board (pardon the pun) to creating boards and pinning photos with the newest social media player - Pinterest.

Pinterest is a pin board-style social photo sharing website that allows users to create collections of images based around themes of interest.

After joining Pinterest this week, IVHQ has started creating boards and pinning photos for each country in which we offer volunteering programs. We have also invited IVHQ volunteers to pin photos from their own volunteering trips to these boards.

Take a look at the fantastic collection of photos that volunteer Laura Bronstein has been pinning to our Volunteer in Ghana board. Laura spent eight weeks volunteering in Ghana on our Orphanage Work program and has captured some really stunning images to remember her trip by.

Keep an eye out for future boards to get an interesting insight into what IVHQ volunteers experience on their trips abroad - from volunteer work to local cuisine to free time and everything in between!
