Good To Go In Guatemala

With the growing number of volunteers joining us in Guatemala, our local team have been busy prepping a new project for future volunteers and we're pleased to announce our Turtle/Environmental Conservation project is now good to go!

Volunteers on this project work alongside local conservation workers in the rural town of Hawaii,on the Pacific Coast of Guatemala. Volunteer work includes turtle egg collection, releasing turtle hatchlings, night beach patrols, turtle biology research, beach clean-up campaigns, reforestation efforts and community education projects. Living in a homestay with a local Guatemalan family, volunteers have the opportunity to sample authentic local cuisine, develop their Spanish speaking skills and experience the Guatemalan way of life.
