My life has been enriched by my first experience as a volunteer through IVHQ - and now I am in Vietnam doing the same for 4 weeks. Favourite moments would be interacting with this new culture on all levels and the beautiful gentle nature of the Cambodian people. On closing I would just like to say it is not so much of what I gave by volunteering but how great the gift I received by being there. It has been life changing. - Anne O'Keefe (Kiwi volunteer in Cambodia)

I just wanted to let you know that the local staff in Ghana were fantastic and whenever I had any questions or needed help they were there for me. I actually extended my trip to 5 months, and returned home last weekend. I had an amazing time, and cant wait to go back. - Nicola Gill (Kiwi volunteer in Ghana)

It has been quite humbling to know that my work here is appreciated by my Cambodian colleagues. The food is good, nutritious, tasty and a reasonable variety of dishes. Having the opportunity to teach a wonderful class of children for an extended period has been a delight. There are many happy moments with them as I see their confidence growing and there English skills improving. - John Thompson (Kiwi volunteer in Cambodia)

The students were all so appreciative, thankful and eager to learn. It was such a worthwhile experience, I loved all the people I met and the fulfilment that teaching gave me. - Grace Mitchell (Kiwi volunteer in Vietnam)

My life has been enriched by my first experience as a volunteer through IVHQ - and now I am in Vietnam doing the same for 4 weeks. I highly recommend people of my age - that is the mature people to take up the challenge. Favourite moments would be interacting with this new culture on all levels and the beautiful gentle nature of the Cambodian people. On closing I would just like to say it is not so much of what I gave by volunteering but how great the gift I received by being there. It has been life changing. - Anne O'Keefe (Kiwi volunteer in Cambodia/Vietnam)
