I also had the great opportunity to make new friends from all over the world. My fellow volunteers have inspired me so much; they are all so ambitious, caring and hard working. My house was also very beautiful and very well maintained, I was very impressed. I definitely feel that this experience has made me grow and appreciate much more. My favorite part of this experience was the group of volunteers I lived with, we were able to go on trips together, explore the city, and become like family. "In May 2015 I had the privilege of spending three weeks in Naples doing the Teaching English program. I can honestly say it was the greatest three weeks of my life and I learnt so much during my time in Italy, not only about the different culture but also about myself. The kids were absolutely amazing - always eager to learn and always with a huge smile on their faces. I woke up every day with excitement knowing I was going to have a blast. The staff at the school were so excited to see international volunteers and always made their best effort to communicate in English and ask us about our home countries. The INN team were absolutely incredible and were always there when we needed anything. On top of this, I was lucky enough to be surrounded by the best group of volunteers to share my experiences with and travel around. I came home a better person and will forever be thankful for my time in Italy. I miss it dearly but I know I will be back very soon." - Emma Carter (IVHQer in Italy)

Everything is different than back home, but that's why we travel! To explore and experience a different way of life. I have zero complaints with my host family and the food. I was well looked after and the family genuinely cared about me. I don't know how they cooked for so many people all the time; they are an amazing family! Since the beginning of my adventure, the IVHQ staff have been awesome. They have been here for us for everything we needed and made me feel comfortable since the first minute. My family placement was more than great. In general, Peruvians are very nice people. I would encourage everyone who can to go to Cusco. "Volunteering in Bali was amazing! Not only was the land and nature itself breath-taking but the people of Bali are beautiful as well. I loved being able to teach English in the kindergarten classes in the mornings, talk with the locals and travel around on weekends. Plus, living in the family compound in Penestanan Kaja village (where the Green Lion Volunteer Organization office is located) really allowed us to integrate into the culture which was my favourite part of the entire trip. I loved becoming apart of the community, learning about Balinese culture, walking to my placement everyday, waving to the families who I had come to know, and contributing to the community! Overall, it was a beautiful experience and I would recommend it to anyone." - Jasmine Montagnese (IVHQer in Bali)
