Having shifted into our new offices we are a step closer to providing a complete International Volunteer HQ experience. One of our rooms has been set up as a bedroom with ensuite to provide accommodation for prospective, upcoming or past volunteers. While we realise that being based in New Zealand (and most of our volunteers are from abroad) that this is not an option for many of you, for those of you travelling through New Zealand it is a great way to either get more information on our programs or assist us at IVHQ.
HELPING YOU
Every registered volunteer with IVHQ is entitled to one free nights’ accommodation at International Volunteer HQ in New Zealand. For upcoming volunteers you can use this as a chance to meet your program coordinator and ask any questions you have in person or for past volunteers provide us with some feedback or even write out testimonials and give us feedback.
In addition to this, we realise that it is important for you (especially when paying money to an International organisation) to verify our legitimacy. While we do our best to do this (please see FAQs), there is no better way than meeting the IVHQ staff face to face and staying at International Volunteer HQ.
For past volunteers, the IVHQ accommodation provides you with the opportunity to give us face to face feedback, discuss the program with us in more depth and help us ensure we are continuously improving our programs. It also gives us a fantastic opportunity to get testimonials and photos directly from you for the website and Facebook group.
HELPING US
One of the great things about IVHQ is our extremely low prices. We do this through having efficient staff and trying to keep administration costs and overheads to a minimum. We realise many of the people who volunteer with us are extremely talented people with incredible qualifications. If before or after your program you are coming through New Zealand and feel you have a skill that would be beneficial to assisting in developing IVHQ (such as online marketing) please get in touch. If we can find a place for you to assist us we will offer you two nights’ accommodation at IVHQ for one day of work (2 for 1!). This means if you are travelling through New Zealand you have free accommodation and still do all the sightseeing.
COSTS
IVHQ Volunteers – One night free (every night after that US$40)
Non IVHQ (Potential) Volunteers – US$80 per night (If after visiting IVHQ you register with us, we will give you your first night free and alter the prices to reflect the fact that you are now registered with IVHQ)
