Kitengela Medical Services
Kitengela Medical Services is located 30kms away from the capital city of Nairobi in a small town called Kitengela. The hospital has a team of local doctors and receives around 20 patients a day. The most common cases are malaria, HIV/AIDS, circumcisions and delivery of babies. The hospital recently got an ultra sound and X-ray machine and they are now using them. Jobs range from Lab work, administration work, support, and cook. Volunteers can be flexible and assist in any area of need dependent on previous experiences, qualifications and preferences. NB This is only an example placement which is one of many offered by IVHQ in Kenya and not necessarily the one you will be working at.
